What we collect
When you join: full name, Marvel nickname, username, phone number, email, age, location, blood group, whether you are willing to donate blood, and (optionally) your favourite Marvel character. When you register for a fan show: which show, how many seats and your check-in status. We do not collect identity documents or medical records.
Optional community features
If you choose to: your district, interests and a short bio; volunteer skills; fan art or photos you submit; and "Notify me" requests for fan shows. If you request blood for someone: your name and phone, the blood group, hospital and city, and optionally the patient's initials. When a coordinator calls a donor about a request we record the response and whether the donor agreed to have their number shared with the requester.
Why we collect it
To run your account, allot fan-show seats fairly (first-come, first-served), check tickets at the venue, and — only if you opt in — let our donor coordinators contact you when someone needs your blood group.
Who can see it
Nothing about you is shown publicly except aggregate counts (e.g. "12 O+ heroes") — unless you switch your fan profile to public (nickname, district, favourite character, interests, bio, badges and approved creations; never phone, email, age or blood group), accept a spotlight on the Fan Wall, or have a submission approved. Volunteer coordinators see volunteers' contact details and skills. Show coordinators see registrations for the shows they manage. Only donor coordinators and site admins can see the donor registry. Every admin access to member data is logged.
Your choices
You can update your profile, opt in or out of the donor registry, pause donor calls, accept or decline spotlights, stop volunteering, make your profile private, cancel show registrations, change your password, or permanently delete your account at any time from My Hero HQ. Deleting your account removes your personal details.
